We had the Chaisson family playing their fiddles at our wedding for entertainment. My dad step-danced. That was the last time he danced. Bitter/sweet memories.
Today we are listening to tunes reminiscent of the 70's. We are having cocktails on our deck. We are having a feast of lobster (cooked by the captain himself). Just us. Somehow it is fitting as in our lifetime we always knew we had each other. On days like this...it is all we need.
Here's to many more anniversaries, and to many more celebrations.
